Web site to focus on accounting

William Henry Publishing Inc., the Mount Adams publisher of Gold Standard Magazine and TechComm-Annual, has been selected by accounting firm Mellot & Mellot for Web site design.
The Web site will focus on taxes and accounting for the certified public accounting firm and for an affiliated company, Information Technology Group Ltd.
Sites will enhance client communication while providing those who use the Internet an opportunity to learn about our firms, said Donald Mellot Jr., managing partner of Mellot & Mellot. Our goal is to offer our clients a valuable resource that provides timely information regarding important accounting and tax-related topics.
The Mellot & Mellot site will also provide profiles of client companies with links to their Web sites, company officials said. Besides the magazines, William Henry Publishing also offers marketing consulting and collateral material design.
Photographer cited for variety of work
Ron Carroll of Madeira received special honors in the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Award of Excellence Print Competition for a variety of offerings. Mr. Carroll competed in the 19th World of Wedding & Portrait Photography Convention and Trade Show.
Township advertisement designated "excellent'
The Union Township Community Improvement Corp. has won national recognition for its advertisement titled Union Centre Could Be the Best Move You'll Ever Make.
The advertisement was honored with a top excellent designation in the 1999 American Economic Development Council (AEDC) Promotional Materials Award Competition.
The advertisement highlights the advantages of a Union Centre location for corporate offices to serve Cincinnati and Dayton markets. Union Centre is a development along Interstate 75 at the Union Centre interchange in Butler County's Union Township, about three miles north of I-275.
The award was announced at the 1999 AEDC annual conference earlier this month in Phoenix.
Gold Effie award goes to Biore brand
The Andrew Jergens Co.-Biore brand, maker of Clean Honest skin care products, was awarded a Gold Effie award by the American Marketing Association (AMA) in the category of beauty aids, for its 1998 advertising campaign.
The AMA's Effie award is a national award to honor creative achievement in exceeding advertising objectives. The award analyzes entries based on campaign planning, market research, media, creativity and account management. To be nominated for this award, the campaign must also demonstrate a partnership between agency and client in the creation, management and building of a brand.
The Biore brand has accomplished and surpassed a goal by simply meeting the needs of the sometimes forgotten yet important demographic, women 18-34, said Kenny Robinson, Biore brand marketing director.
Romelli redesigns logo of art museum
Romelli Design Inc. drew upon the neo-Classical design of the Cincinnati Art Museum for its efforts to redesign the museum's logo and marketing position statement.
The logo balances the building with the scenic surroundings of Eden Park. Romelli Design, which employs nine, has designed and developed strategic packaging and communication plans for clients for 25 years.
