Sunday night concerts at Eden Park will be moved to 7-9:30 p.m. effective this Sunday in an effort to address residents' complaints about noise and traffic. The concerts had been scheduled for 8-10:30 p.m. About 200 residents signed a petition complaining.
The city of Cincinnati is funding an eight-concert series at Seasongood Pavilion. in the park at a cost of $87,000 to keep cruising teen-agers from migrating to Short Vine in Corryville on Sundays.

Man accused of assaulting cops
A Price Hill man was indicted Thursday on charges of assaulting police officers who attempted to arrest him for questioning in a burglary case.
Kahn Fredrick, 23, faces two counts of assault on a police officer and one count of aggravated robbery.
Prosecutors say Mr. Fredrick broke the nose of one of the officers and attempted to grab the other officer's handgun at Mr. Fredrick's apartment on Elberon Avenue in Price Hill.
After his arrest later on June 16, prosecutors say, Mr. Fredrick told police he resisted because he wasn't going to jail and miss his baby's birthday.
They say Mr. Fredrick knocked one officer down a flight of stairs as he reached for the other officer's gun. The officer wrestled the gun away from Mr. Fredrick, who then ran away.
Mr. Fredrick, who was arrested a short time later, could face up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
Middletown hospital plans phone repairs
An upgrade of the telephone system could mean people trying to call Middletown Regional Hospital early Sunday and again on July 11 may get a busy signal and be delayed reaching their party.
The hospital has outgrown its telephone system and needs increased capacity and new equipment to become Y2K compliant, said Deborah Freitag, hospital communications coordinator.
There are two planned telephone shutdowns, 2 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday and the same hours July 11. During that time, as new telephone and data trunks are added, all external routine calls will be routed through a single line. That number is (513) 424-2111.Hospital officials do not want callers to be alarmed if they have trouble getting through.
