Where would the WKRP characters be now?
What would the crazy 'KRP characters be doing in 1999? Here's what WKRP story editor Bill Dial says:
Andy Travis (Gary Sandy): A programming consultant for a large radio group like Clear Channel (formerly Jacor).
Venus Flytrap (Tim Reid): President of BET cable.
Jennifer Marlowe (Lonnie Anderson): Married to a prince and living near the French Riviera.
Johnny Fever (Howard Hesseman): Playing classic rock on the overnight shift on a Maui radio station.
Les Nessman (Richard Sanders): Still at WKRP, and still begging Mr. Carlson to let him do a talk show.
Herb Tarlek : Still at WKRP and wearing white leather belts and selling Herbalife on the side.
Bailey Quarters (Jan Smithers): Programming executive for Lifetime cable.
Arthur Carlson (Gordon Jump): Still running WKRP and kicking himself for turning down offers to sell the station to Jacor or other radio conglomerates.
