TV picks: Travel half-way around the world to Kakadu, Australia's Ancient Wilderness, a land of flying foxes and green ants captured (on film, that is) by PBS' The Living Edens (8 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16).
TV Critic John Kiesewetter notes that Oz, HBO's brutally frank series about life (and death) in a maximum security prison, returns for a third season (10 p.m., HBO).

On disc: Return of the Grievous Angel: A Tribute to Gram Parsons(Almo Sounds; $16.98 CD only), produced by Emmylou Harris, brings together some top voices of rock and alt-country, including Sheryl Crow, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Elvis Costello.
Chris Rock's Bigger and Blacker (DreamWorks; $16.99 CD, $10.99 cassette) is the latest broadside from one of the last comedians making social commentary instead of telling fart jokes.
Full Clip: A Decade of Gang Starr (Noo Trybe/Virgin; $23.99 CD, $18.99 cassette) is a double-CD collection from one of rap's most consistently innovative groups.
One of rock's legendary albums is back in remastered form, as Brian Wilson's groundbreaking masterwork with the Beach Boys Pet Sounds (Capitol; $17.99 CD) is released as a single disc.
