Middletown man found in street critical

MIDDLETOWN A 41-year-old Middletown man was hospitalized in critical condition late Thursday after police officers found him lying in the street.
Officers responded to a complaint of man yelling in the street in the 1800 block of North Avenue about 5:30 p.m., police said.
They found Roderick J. O'Harra, of the 1800 block of North Avenue, who was combative and incoherent.
Mr. O'Harra was handcuffed and placed in the police cruiser, police said. Officers then noticed he had stopped breathing.
Mr. O'Harra was in critical condition after taken to Middletown Regional Hospital.
Police are investigating.
