Milford's Terrell wins bronze at Pan Am Games


U.S. dominates in kayaking, canoe events

        WINNIPEG — Jim Terrell of Milford won a bronze medal Thursday at the Pan American Games.

        Terrell placed third in the one-man canoe 500-meter race with a time of 1 minute, 55.132 seconds, less than four seconds behind winner Pajon Balceiro of Cuba. The United States won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals in canoe and kayaking events.
