The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Cincinnati Marlins captured the combined team championship Saturday at the United States Junior National Swimming Championships in Bloomington, Ind.
The Marlins ran away with the title as they scored 629 points to easily outdistance the Massachusetts Bay Marlins' 332 points.
The Marlins swept the men's women's and combined titles for only the second time in the history of the U.S. Junior National meet. They previously swept in 1997.
The meet featured more than 1,000 of the top 19-and-under swimmers from more than 100 teams from across the country.
