Madison film needs local actors only

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Residents of the Madison, Ind., area are invited to audition Saturday for film roles..

Madison Miracle Productions plans to begin shooting Madison later this month. Based on the true story of a 1971 hydroplane boat race, it will deal with a small-town team that wins a major race.

Jake Lloyd, who plays Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, is scheduled to appear in the movie.

Auditions will be at Brown Gym, 101 Broadway St., Madison. Would-be extras may audition from 8 a.m. to noon. Experienced actors — with resumes and head shots — are invited from 1 to 5 p.m.

Only local residents will be considered.
