Stephanie Pelcha, 10, a 65-pound python Thursday morning lying under a truck at her home in California, Ohio.

Posing with the snake with Stephanie (white shirt), from left, are her cousin, Travis, 3; her brother, James, 10; her father, Steve; and a family friend, Gary Webster.

The Pelchas kept the snake in a wading pool and doghouse, before a family acquaintance took it Thursday night.
