TRISTATE MARKET SPOTLIGHT

Mason's Cintas continues slide

Cintas Corp. continued on a three-day, 15.7 percent skid Thursday.

Stock in the Mason-based uniform supplier fell $3.121/2, or 5.78 percent, to close at $50.933/4. It traded intraday as low as $48.371/2.

Each close since Tuesday has been a 13-week low for the stock, which hit its 52-week low of $39.871/2 on Aug. 31, 1998.

It's unclear what prompted this week's sell-off, which also has been on heavier-than-usual volumes. Thursday, 4.1 million shares changed hands, almost 10 times the 13-week average volume of 423,258 shares.
