        • Dr. Julie A. Renner has joined Deaconess Older Adult Mental Health, Cincinnati's first program to offer specialized mental-health services to older adults. Dr. Renner will provide care to residents of long-term care centers, patients admitted for inpatient care through the OAMH program and outpatients. She was director of geriatric psychiatry at Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kan.

        • Dr. Robert C. Rhoad, a hand specialist, has joined Wellington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine.

        • Andree Marie Hymel has joined The Contemporary Arts Center as assistant director.

        • Lee D. Ashton has been named vice president at Fifth Third Bank.

        • Martin Williams has been named production director at Libby Perszyk Kathman; Kate Wilke has joined the company as account coordinator; and Laura Eddings has joined as quality as surance coordinator.

        • Sharon P. Kaufman, vice president, operations, at U.S. Financial Life Insurance Co., has been appointed to the board of directors.

        • Betty Lucas, counselor/ manager at Cincinnati Credit Counseling Service, Westwood, has transferred to the new location at 8100 Burlington Pike, Florence. Also, Vanessa Hudson has been named manager.

        • Joseph P. Mehrle has joined Dinsmore & Shohl LLP as an associate in the litigation and intellectual property groups. Mr. Mehrle was manager of software engineering at Lexis-Nexis and also had a part-time private law practice, handling litigation, bankruptcy and other areas of law.
