Wyoming 22, Roger Bacon 13

Dupee rushes for 267 yards, 3 touchdowns

The Cincinnati Enquirer

After playing behind star Richard Hall, Wyoming senior tailback David Dupee is making the most of his opportunity.

Dupee rushed for 267 yards on 22 carries and scored three touchdowns Friday night, leading Wyoming to a 22-13 victory over Roger Bacon.

Dupee scored on rushes of two, 36 and 54 yards.

“It doesn't surprise me at all,” Wyoming coach Bernie Barre said. “This is a kid who's very talented. He just had to wait for Richard Hall to graduate. Now he's getting a chance to show what he can do.”

Dupee rushed for 182 yards in the Cowboys' season-opening victory over Kings.

Wyoming's defense was solid. The Cowboys turned the ball over seven times but limited Roger Bacon to 160 yards.
