Police studying infant's death

CLEVES A 10-month-old boy apparently drowned Monday in the bathtub of an apartment on West Mill Street, upsetting neighbors and sparking a police investigation.
Heather Ezra, who police describe as being in her early 20s, called the Whitewater Township Fire Department at 4:18 p.m. after discovering young Kameron in the bathtub.
She was home with the boy and her other child, a 3-year-old with autism, said Hamilton County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Barnett. Her husband was at work.
Kameron was pronounced dead at Franciscan Hospital-Mount Airy Campus. A coroner's report is pending.
No one in the building slept last night, Carrie Wegner, a neighbor and mother of two children, said Tuesday.
This has affected us all deeply. There are a lot of young mothers in the building.
Mrs. Ezra was questioned by police, who will continue working on the case over the next few days, Mr. Barnett said. They have not yet determined whether any criminal charges will be filed.
