Colerain man faces rape, molesting charges
A Colerain Township man was indicted Thursday on charges of repeatedly raping and molesting two girls.
Marc Day, 32, could be sentenced to life in prison if he is convicted of raping the children, ages 8 and 10.
He faces 12 counts of rape, 12 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and one count of gross sexual imposition. He was arrested Sept. 7 after police interviewed the children.
Prosecutors say Mr. Day frequently photographed his encounters with the girls and kept the photos hidden in a metal box.
It's a level of sexual abuse and depravity that most people would find unimaginable and extremely revolting, Prosecutor Mike Allen said.
He said police began investigating when a girl's mother saw him touching the children in an inappropriate manner.
