Mobile news museum goes on display
Visit coincides with Oktoberfest

From the days of manual typewriters to the age of the Internet, the world of newsgathering will be featured for three days downtown at a mobile museum at Fifth and Broadway streets.
Newseum's NewsCapade with Al Neuharth, a mobile extension of the Arlington, Va.-based news mu seum, is part of Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati, beginning today.
Mr. Neuharth is the founder of USA Today.
The exhibit will offer a glimpse into the world of journalism through historic pictures, interactive displays, artifacts, broadcast reports and video presentations. Admission is free.
The Newscapade is on a nationwide tour.. Cincinnati is the 21st stop.
Upon entering the 2,000-square-foot mobile museum, visitors will watcha short video called What's News?, narrated by CBS News' Charles Osgood.
Exhibits detail historic events, media mistakes, breaking news and the opportunity to be a reporter, editor or a photographer.
Visitors will be able to test their integrity on an interactive ethics test on real events.
The NewsCapade will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
