Nick Janning completed eight-of-15 passes for 221 yards, giving host Indian Hill a 28-0 victory over previously unbeaten Mariemont on Friday night.
It was Janning's 75-yard pass play to Mike Sweeney in the second quarter that enabled Indian Hill to take a 7-0 halftime lead, breaking open a defensive struggle.
Mariemont was ranked No. 6 in the Enquirer's Division II-VI coaches' poll.
The Braves took advantage of a Mariemont turnover in the third quarter with Rick Hartif picking up a fumble and running 37 yards for the score.
Besides the TD reception, Sweeney also played an important defensive role, intercepting two Mariemont passes with Grady Rogers coming up with another.
Charlie Hahl was Indian Hills leading reciver with five catches for 81 yards.
Jeremy Hamilton scored two TDs and rushed for 132 yards on 27 carries.
