STAYING IN
TV picks: You'll need three VCRs to catch four great TV shows, three of them at 9 p.m., says TV Critic John Kiesewetter. At 9, The West Wing staff twists House members' arms to pass a gun-control bill (Channels 5, 22); Roswell teens consider breaking into the sheriff's office to see alien evidence (Channel 64); and Bo Derek attends Drew's high school reunion on the Drew Carey Show (Channels 9, 2). And PBS' American Photography: A Century of Images is a terrific three hours (8-11 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16).

Disc picks: The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band's Live On (Giant/Reprise; $16.98 CD; $10.98 cassette), featuring vocalist Noah Hunt of Cincinnati, leads the week's releases. It's a strong set of blues-based rock, says Enquirer music critic Larry Nager

311 is back with Soundsystem (Capricorn; $16.98 CD; $10.98 cassette), fusing modern rock with a host of influences from rap to reggae.
Two different live albums also arrive this week:
Live: From Here to Eternity (Sony Legacy; $17.98 CD; $11.98 cassette), is the first official live CD by England's pioneering punk band the Clash. A documentary is also planned.
Those seeking considerably mellower sounds from a live disc are directed to Chicago XXVI The Live Album (Chicago; $16.98 CD; no cassette).
