Buses solution to traffic headache

Tall Stacks '99 crowds, construction and a soldout Bengals game at 1 p.m. mean traffic will be heavy today.
Organizers urge Tall Stacks visitors to use buses and shuttles to get to the riverfront.
Park & Ride: Bus service is available 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. today. Buses depart about every 20 minutes and drop off on the plaza level of Cinergy Field.
Final departure times are 9:30 p.m. from the Park & Ride locations and 11 p.m. from Cinergy Field.
Cost is $5 round-trip per adult and $3 per child. Exact change required.
Parking is free at the Park & Ride locations.

Western Hills Plaza (Glenway Avenue and Werk Road in Westwood). Park behind stores near breezeway.
General Electric in Evendale (I-75, Exit 14). Enter Gate 27, turn right at stop sign, parking on right.
Eastgate Mall (I-275, Exit 63). Board in west area rear of the Mall.
Northern Kentucky University (I-471 at I-275). Park in Lot K, which can be reached from Nunn Drive or Kenton Drive.
Biggs at Turfway (I-75, Exit 182).
Downtown Shuttle
If you park in a downtown Cincinnati garage, you can take Metro's Downtown Shuttle to the plaza level of Cinergy Field for 25 cents.
The shuttle will run west on Fourth Street, north on Elm Street, east on Central Parkway and south to Cinergy Field via Sycamore Street.
Buses run every 10 minutes and will stop at regular Metro bus stops along the route.Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m. today. Information: 621-4455.
Southbank Shuttle
Operated by TANK, the Southbank Shuttle connects the riverfront areas of Cincinnati, Newport and Covington. It stops at main entertainment and hotel areas.
Hours: 6a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
Fare is 25 cents.
