Sunday, October 24, 1999Six-car collision halts bridge traffic
A six-car wreck on the Brent Spence Bridge stopped traffic on southbound Interstate 75 for almost an hour Saturday as emergency crews tended to the accident scene.
Covington Police said the chain reaction accident occurred about 6:41 p.m. and stopped all southbound traffic on I-75.
Two people were injured in the six-car wreck with one treated and released from St. Elizabeth Hospital and the other transported to University Hospital. Identification of the injured was not available. Police are continuing their investigation of the accident.
