STAYING IN
        • TV picks: Poor Sally! She's going to be stuck in the stupid pumpkin patch with Linus again, as CBS repeats the 1966 cartoon classic, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (8 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter also says the Freaks and Geeks come out early for Halloween, with NBC repeating the pilot today (9 p.m., Channels 5, 22) to promote a Halloween episode the next day (8 p.m. Saturday).

        • Radio treat: Although he died in 1995, Wolfman Jack will haunt the WGRR-FM (103.5) airwaves, taking requests from 6-10 p.m. today. It's an annual Halloween trick by DJ Ron Schumacher, using old tapes the Wolfman made for the oldies station.

HARRIED WITH CHILDREN
        • Travel time: Grab a passport to rich storytelling traditions of America and its neighbors as The Shoestring Players “Discover the Americas.” The program, 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 2 p.m. Saturday, is part of the Rosenthal Next Generation Theatre Series at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Eden Park.
