Meister classified as sexual predator
Sentencing today in teen porn case

Saying William Meister set out to seduce a Madeira teen into a sexual relationship after meeting her on the Internet, a judge on Thursday classified the 38-year-old as a sexual predator.
Judge Ann Marie Tracey of Hamilton County Common Pleas Court told Mr. Meister he was oblivious because he acted as if he didn't know he was dealing with a 15-year-old child.
Mr. Meister of Madeira is a convicted con man and Cincinnati's most famous ticket scalper. He was indicted by a grand jury in March on charges of corruption of a minor, illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and pandering sexually oriented materials involving a minor.
He originally pleaded not guilty, but withdrew the plea in September, according to court records. His altered plea has prosecutors dismissing seven charges while he pleads guilty to four counts of corruption of a minor and pandering sexually oriented materials involving a minor. Mr. Meister, who is to be sentenced today, faces up to five years in prison and a fine.
Prosecutors say he took up to 60 photos of the girl in various states of nudity so he could later market them on a Web site. They say Mr. Meister even used a photo of the girl as a screen saver on his computer.
Judge Tracey Thursday sentenced Frank Burton to two years of community control for a conviction on two charges of possessing nude photos of the then 15-year-old girl. That means he will be supervised by the probation department.
I am truly sorry to the family, said Mr. Burton, 41, who was classified by the judge as a sex offender. He faced up to a year in prison for each charge. However, as part of his sentence, Mr. Burton will have to enroll in a behavioral control program, have no unsupervised contact with juveniles and stay away from the victim and Mr. Meister.
A third man, Laszlo Bozso, was sentenced to one year in prison in July for interfering with a police investigation by destroying photos of a nude teen, who is now 16. Formerly an assistant coach for the Xavier University women's team, Mr. Bozso was convicted in June of four counts of tampering with evidence.
