Woman dead after fiery two-car crash

HAMILTON A 33-year-old woman died Monday when her car hit another, then burst into flames at Eaton Avenue and Gordon Smith Boulevard.
Hamilton police said Tammy R. Ratliff, of Hamilton, died shortly after 3:50 p.m. Police and fire officials found two heavily damaged vehicles, one of which was engulfed in flames. Officers proceeded to pull Ms. Ratlifffrom the wreckage. She was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Two occupants in the second car, whose names were not released, received minor injuries and were treated and released from Fort Hamilton.
Police are continuing to investigate.
