        • WHAT TO WATCH: With the exception of last week's 48-0 loss last week to Beechwood, Newport Central Catholic played well throughout its district season. It doesn't help that the state's top two teams, No. 1 Bellevue and No. 2 Beechwood, are in its district.

        Berea averages more than 300 yards per game rushing, so it could control the clock and limit NewCath's opportunities. Surging sophomore RB Steve Everson (1,345 yards, 11 TDs) can do the same for NewCath, keeping the ball away from the Pirates.
