Raceland (7-3) at Beechwood (8-2)

Today's N.Ky. playoff matchup

        • WHEN: 7:30 p.m. today

        • WHERE: Beechwood High School, 54 Beechwood Rd., Fort Mitchell

        • WHAT TO WATCH: Get mad, then get even. That has been Beechwood's battle cry since losing Oct. 8 at Bellevue. Beechwood destroyed Holy Cross, Ludlow and Newport Central Catholic in succession by an aggregate score of 160-14. Two more victories earns a likely rematch with Bellevue.

Beechwood has excelled the past two weeks with Ben List at quarterback, filling in for injured starter Mike Nie. List, who has 848 rushing yards, gives the Tigers a great run/pass threat.

Beechwood is 37-2 in the playoffs under coach Mike Yeagle and has won 39 consecutive home games. Raceland, a run-heavy team, will thus be in trouble if it falls far behind.

        • PICK: Beechwood
