PEOPLE ON THE MOVE




        • Mary Beth Mapstone has been named vice president of finance at Burke Inc. In 1979-84, Ms. Mapstone was administrative assistant and manager of data entry and scheduling at Burke. In 1984, she left the company to complete her master's degree in business administration and to obtain her certified public accountant's license. She returned to Burke in 1994 as controller. She holds a bachelor's from the University of Miami and a master's from the University of Cincinnati.

        • Russell Martin has joined SSOE Inc., architects/engineers, as senior packaging specialist.

        • Suzanne Hanners has joined Strata-G as Web technology manager; Michael Ireland, art director/multimedia design specialist; and Nicole Fiehrer has been named account/media coordinator.

        • Eric Boltz has been named vice president of sensor product development at Marathon Sensors Inc.

        • Melissa J. Trotter has been named associate consultant in the Cincinnati office of Staley/Robeson/Ryan/St. Lawrence Inc., whichpromotes philanthropy by providing fund-raising services to nonprofit organizations.

        • Gregory A. Smith has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as manager in the state tax consulting group. Mr. Smith joined the firm in September as a manager and has more than nine years of public accounting and industry experience related to tax. He specializes in income and franchise tax consulting and is responsible for client service management and directing his service teams. He graduated from the College of Mount St. Joseph with a bachelor's in accounting.
