Police, FBI seek Falmouth bank robber

        FALMOUTH — Federal and local officials are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday night.

        A white man wearing hunter's camouflage clothing and a mask went into the Fifth Third branch on Ridgeway Street just before it closed at 6 p.m. Authorities did not disclose how much money the man took.

        The robber carried what appeared to be a .22-caliber rifle, according to the FBI. He spent about seven minutes inside the bank and continuously threatened employees during that time.

        Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI's Northern Kentucky office at 341-3901 or Falmouth police at 654-3300.
