Louisville 6, Mighty Ducks 2

Visiting Louisville celebrated Thanksgiving early by carving out a 6-2 victory over the Mighty Ducks before 3,888 Wednesday night at the Cincinnati Gardens.
A close game turned lopsided with 3:57 left in the game. The visitors, up 3-2, added three goals in the next 3:07 to make the score look like a blowout had taken place.
Cincinnati is winless in three tries this year against the Panthers.
Right now Louisville enjoys playing against us, said Ducks coach Moe Mantha, whose team fell to 6-5-4-1. They're having fun against us.
The Ducks missed a chance to move ahead of idle Philadelphia and into sole possession of fourth place in the Mid-Atlantic Division.
Louisville, 11-11-2-0, snapped Cincinnati's league-high, three-game winning streak.
Hopefully, that game was a message to our guys, Mantha said. Whatever you did in the past doesn't mean nothing. You've got to come back and play the game the next night.
Marc Chouinard scored early in the final period to pull the Ducks to within 3-2, but Louisville's Eric Boguniecki's 10th goal of the year began the late rout.
Cincinnati's first goal came from Darryl Laplante in the middle period. Seven of his nine goals this season have come in November, second in the AHL this month. Assisting on the goal were Frank Banham and Bob Wren, who extended their point-streaks to six and four games, respectively.
