Thanksgiving Race may draw record field
With a good weather forecast, the Thanksgiving Day Race is likely to have a field of more than 6,000 for the first time.
We're heading that way, race director Don Connolly said Wednesday afternoon. We're over 5,000. That's means we'll hit 5,400 tonight. Last year, we got over 600 (registrations) on race day.
The 90th Thanksgiving Day Race starts today at 9 a.m.
If you haven't registered and want to run, you can sign up 6:30-8 a.m. at Albert B. Sabin Convention Center for $20.
The 10k race starts at Latonia Shopping Plaza in Covington and finishes at Third and Elm streets in downtown Cincinnati, but there is no registration at the start.
Everything is run out of the Convention Center, Connolly said. Even if you're preregistered, you have to pick up your number at the Convention Center.
