Mercy sinks Sycamore with FTs

        Mercy sank five of six free throws during the final 1:30 of the game, four by Angie Zeuch, to pull out a 44-38 victory over Sycamore Tuesday in girls basketball at Mercy.

        Angie Heintz also played an important role for the Bobcats, scoring a field goal and a free throw down the stretch.

        “We played good defense,” Mercy coach Mary Jo Huismann said. “But the offense looked like a first game.”

        The Cardinals turned the game around in the fourth quarter with a full court press with Easter coming off the bench to score seven points and grab seven rebounds.
