A Macys.com spokesman said Dayton, Ohio-based NCR will not take over duties regularly handled by Fingerhut Cos. Inc., which Federated acquired this year in part to handle its growing catalog and online business. Fingerhut is expected to take over the functions that NCR is now developing.
