Princeton wins GMC showdown

        Erik Daniels' dunk off an inbounds pass in the final seconds of the third quarter broke a 35-35 tie and set Princeton up for a key 56-47 Greater Miami Conference victory over Lima Senior on Tuesday night.

        Princeton was ranked No. 1 in preseason GMC balloting, Lima Senior No. 2. Pressure defense from Princeton helped the Vikings to a 13-1 edge after the first quarter, but Lima caught up by the end of the third quarter. Princeton outscored Lima 19-12 in the final quarter.

        Daniels and Curtis Cross scored 18 points each to lead Princeton.

        Jamie Cherivel scored 14 points to lead New Richmond.
