Warden leads Indian Hill

        Senior forward Haley Warden picked the right game and the right time to become the girls all-time career scoring leader at Indian Hill.

        It was Warden's 12-point effort in the fourth quarter that rallied Indian Hill to a 62-53 victory over Wyoming in a Cincinnati Hills League game Tuesday.

        Warden entered the game with 973 points, tied with Patti Gerrah (1989-91) for the career lead, and broke the record with 19 points in the game.

        Erin Schmitt also played a role in the victory, scoring eight points in the third quarter when the Braves took a slim lead.

        • Madeira 40, Mariemont 38, at Madeira — Senior guard Ann Staubach sank a 15-foot jumper with five seconds remaining to lift Madeira.

        Mariemont led by as much as six points early in the fourth quarter, but Amanda Davis pulled the Amazons back with five of her seven points in the fourth.
