PHILADELPHIA Mike Maneluk scored two goals as the Philadelphia Phantoms beat the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks 3-1 Tuesday night in the AHL.
Maneluk, who has points in seven of the last 10 games, took a pass from former Mighty Duck Chris Albert in the neutral zone, skated around Scott Ferguson and stuffed the puck past Cincinnati goaltender Gregg Naumenko for the winning goal while the Phantoms were shorthanded at 11:56 of the second.
Pete White added a third-period empty-net goal for Philadelphia, which won its third straight game to move within one point of third-place Cincinnati in the Mid-Atlantic Division.
The Ducks had a seven-game road winning streak snapped while suffering just their third loss in the last 17 games (10-3-3-1).
