Clavier, Mercy handle No. 8 Hughes 59-34

        Melissa Clavier scored 10 of her 17 points in the second half, leading the host Bobcats to a 59-34 victory Tuesday night.

        Clavier also had six rebounds for the Bobcats, No.2 in The Enquirer's Division I coaches poll. Leslie Burns paced No.8 Hughes with 12 points.
