The Cincinnati Enquirer
Four family members victims of a shooting rampage in Georgia will be laid to rest today.
Services for former Northside resident Barbara E. Clark, 62; her sister, Donnie Gee, 60; Ms. Gee's daughter, Nicole Underwood, 16; and Ms. Gee's granddaughter, Doeyana Burton, 3, all of Northside, will be at 11 a.m. at Peace Baptist Church, 652 Rockdale Ave., Avondale.
A portion of the services has been donated by Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home, said funeral director Dewey Baskin.
The four were shot to death as they slept during the early morning Dec. 28. Authorities have charged Ms. Clark's boyfriend, 65-year-old Issac Pearson Sr., formerly of Golf Manor, with their deaths.
Ms. Gee and the two girls had been visiting the home of Ms. Clark and Mr. Pearson in Fayetteville, Ga., outside At lanta, over Christmas.
The four are survived by Latosha Underwood of Northside, Doeyana's mother.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. inside the church. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations to help with the cost of the funeral may be made to Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati, 45206, or to Donnie Gee Family Trust, c/o North Side Bank & Trust, 4125 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati 45223.
