Newport Central Catholic pulled away with a 21-13 fourth-quarter run to defeat Highlands 64-53 Saturday night.
Tony Bacigalupo led NCC with 18 points, and Ronny Dawn added 16.

D.J. Jointer hit a 3-pointer with 5.4 seconds remaining to give Montgomery County a 46-45 lead. After a Camels timeout, Steve Sigma drove the lane and airballed a running 10-footer, which Reinhardt grabbed and put in for the winner.
