Loveland takes 1st in FAVC-C

The Loveland Tigers took over sole possession of first place in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Cardinal Division with a 51-40 victory over Kings Tuesday at Loveland.
Balanced scoring was the key for the Tigers. Yusuf Muhammad (13), Clint Nagel (11) and Kevin Schappell (10) all were in double figures.
Taking advantage of a cold-shooting Kings team, the Tigers raced to a 12-4 lead, 21-12 at halftime and 33-23 after three quarters.
Loveland, 5-0 in the Cardinal Division, holds a one-game lead over Kings (4-1) and a two-game edge over Lebanon (4-2).
