Cincinnati girls basketball roundup


Cunningham's 28 carry Withrow

The Cincinnati Enquirer

        Shere' Cunningham scored 28 points, 20 in the second half, to lead Withrow to a 65-43 victory over Hughes Tuesday night.

        Held to eight points in the first half, Cunningham took charge in the third quarter. She scored 11 points as the Tigers opened up a 45-35 lead.

        The loss was the first for Hughes in the Queen City Conference.

        Simmons scored 12 of her 14 in the second half. Michele Barrett led all scorers for the Fighting Owls with 21.
