ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. The Cincinnati Stuff needed overtime and several late defensive stops in a 93-91 win over the New Mexico Slam on Tuesday.
Stuff guard Moo-Moo Blakney tallied 24 points in the victory. Allen Edwards tossed in 14 for Cincinnati, and Tremaine Fowlkes added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
New Mexico's Keith Carter missed a jumper in the final seconds of overtime, and Stuff forward Alex Sanders ripped down the rebound as time expired.
