Boone Co. to honor Dinn

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Boone County will retire the uniform number of David Dinn, the first such honor in the school's boys basketball history, in a ceremony before the Rebels' home game tonight against Walton-Verona.

Dinn, who averaged 18.3 points and 10.9 rebounds in his three-year varsity career, was named the Ninth Region Player of the Year in 1986. He played at Wright State, and was named one of the program's top 10 players ever.

Dinn's No.32 Boone jersey was worn by only one player since his graduation: younger brother Phillip.
