Dawn powers NewCath

The Cincinnati Enquirer

        Ronny Dawn and Vince Bonhaus combined to score 15 points in the first quarter as Newport Central Catholic jumped out to a 12-point lead and held on for a 65-50 victory over Holy Cross.

        Dawn finished with a game-high 25 points to lead NewCath, ranked No.1 in the Enquirer's Northern Kentucky coaches poll. Rob Feldman paced Holy Cross with 18 points.
