Stanley Cup to visit Dayton

The Cincinnati Enquirer

The Stanley Cup will spend a day in Dayton, Ohio, March 3, as part of the expansion Columbus BlueJackets and NHL's “Hockey Fights Cancer” program.

Stinger, the BlueJackets' mascot, will bring the Stanley Cup to John F. Kennedy Elementary School (5030 Polen Drive, Kettering). From there, it's on to the Children's Medical Center (One Children's Place, Dayton) from 3-4 p.m. and, finally, to the Nutter Center for the Dayton Bombers-Johnstown Chiefs ECHL game. Face-off is 7:30 p.m.

Nutter doors open at 6 p.m. Fans can have their picture taken with Lord Stanley's Cup.
