STAYING IN
        • TV picks: You can't stop the music, because it's Grammy night. Pre-Grammy Awards shows air 6-8 p.m. (on VH1, E!) and 7-8 p.m (MTV) before Rosie O'Donnell hosts CBS' live telecast (8-11 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter says if you're not interested in the Grammys, check out PBS' Journey in Amazonia (8:30 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16) or the president's trip to Hollywood on The West Wing (9 p.m., Channels 5, 22).

WHAT'S IN STORES TODAY
        • Disc picks: The week's biggest release is the soundtrack CD for The Next Best Thing (Warner Bros.; $18.98 CD, $11.98 cassette) featuring, says Larry Nager, Madonna's half-baked “American Pie,” along with a new Madonna song and one by Christina Aguilera.

        • The Chieftains deliver an early St. Paddy's Day gift with Water From the Well (RCA; $16.98 CD, $10.98 cassette).

        • The Byrds get the expanded-CD treatment with another top-shelf batch of reissues, including Untitled/Unissued (Sony/Legacy; $24.98 CD only), featuring 14 previously unreleased tracks, and Live at the Fillmore — February 1969 (Sony/Legacy; $17.98 CD only) an unissued concert featuring the late guitar great Clarence White.

        • The final recordings of the late INXS frontman can be found on Michael Hutchence (V2; $17.98 CD only), which includes guests Bono and Joe Strummer.

        • Spring holidays: Don't tell Christopher Radko his popular hand painted glass ornaments are just for Christmas. His 2000 collection has designs for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, weddings, newborns and spring training. Some have special display “trees” (St. Patrick's tree, Bunny Bungalow Tree).
