The Cincinnati Enquirer
Cincinnati divers dominated the state high school competition Thursday at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.
Indian Hill freshman Emily Hunter was the biggest surprise, amassing 395.15 points to edge Kristin Orwig from Castalia Margaretta (390.55) for the Division II state title.
The 1998 state champion and 1999 runner-up, Anderson senior Nicci Fusaro closed out her career by winning the Division I title with 414.15 points.
I don't know how to express how great this makes me feel, Fusaro said. I'm so happy, so excited, to end my high school career on top.
Turpin's Peter Donahue won the boys title with 466.75 points.
