Notre Dame beats Boone Co.

        Notre Dame used a 25-10 fourth quarter Thursday to clinch a 66-52 victory over Boone County in a battle between two of Northern Kentucky's top girls basketball programs.

        Notre Dame entered the game tied for No.2 in the Enquirer's coaches poll and Boone County ranked No.4.

        Mia Bradford had a huge block with 1:30 left and Notre Dame leading by four. The Pandas scored on the ensuing possession to take a six-point lead.

        Boone County was forced to foul, and Notre Dame pulled away from the foul line. They sank 12 of 15 free throws.

        Bradford (8) and Emily Farrell (7) combined to score 15 points in the fourth quarter. Farrell led all scorers with 19 points, and Bradford added 12.
