Boy, 2, drowns in pool

NEWPORT A 2-year-old boy drowned Friday when he made his way into a neighbor's yard and fell into an above-ground pool.
The child was taken to St. Luke Hospital East after he was found about 1:30 p.m.
Police are withholding the child's name until family members are notified. No charges have been filed.
