Motorist killed, passenger hurt in Brown Co.

The Cincinnati Enquirer

STERLING TOWNSHIP — A man was killed and a female passenger injured when their car went through a stop sign and was struck by a pickup truck at Bardwell West Road and Eastwood Road in Brown County.

The injured passenger was taken to University Hospital. The names of the people in the car were being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The crash occurred about 4:45 p.m. when the driver of the car, traveling west on Bardwell West Road, failed to heed a stop sign. The pickup truck was traveling south on Eastwood Road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The pickup truck driver was not injured.
