Cyclones 6, Utah 5
SALT LAKE CITY - The Cincinnati Cyclones got a pair of goals from forward Craig MacDonald, including the winning goal while the Cyclones were shorthanded in the third, in a 6-5 win against the Utah Grizzlies at the E-Center.
MacDonald, on assignment from the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes, broke the 5-5 tie with a shorthanded goal with 9:47 to play.
The win was Cincinnati's fourth in four tries against Utah, the Western Conference leaders.
The season sweep against the Grizzlies marks the third time in franchise history that the Cyclones have swept a season series of at least four games from an opponent.
