Head-on crash in Evendale injures six

Six people suffered minor injuries Friday in a head-on collision along westbound Glendale-Milford Road in Evendale. Ambulances and fire personnel from seven communities were called to the scene to assist Evendale with the accident.
Officials said the crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. when a car and minivan collided near the southbound entrance to Interstate 75.
A helicopter flew one victim to University Hospital. Four others were transported via ambulance to University, and one other was sent to Good Samaritan Hospital, according to Evendale Fire Capt. Richard Cruse.
Officials said five people were in the minivan; one was in the car.
A University Hospital spokeswoman said four of the five brought there were treated and released and doctors were deciding whether to keep the fifth overnight for observation.
The injured person taken to Good Samaritan was also treated and released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
