BY JIM HANNAH
The Cincinnati Enquirer

A 24-year-old Riverside man was seriously injured Friday morning when his car was struck by a pickup truck at a stop light in Price Hill.

The crash occurred at 8:43 a.m. at West Eighth Street and Rosemont Avenue. The pickup was driven by Scott Davis, 28, of Western Hills.

Ron Hodges, who was driving the car, was in serious condition Friday afternoon at University Hospital, Cin cinnati police said. A passenger in the car, Karen Dove, 18, of Cleves, was treated at University Hospital and released, police said.

        Mr. Davis was not injured.

The car was traveling south on Rosemont Avenue and the truck was going west on West Eighth Street, according to police. The wreck closed a portion of West Eighth Street for more than two hours.

Police were investigating the wreck Friday afternoon, and neither driver had been cited.
